Personalized Care Plans
Our personalized individual care plans are tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual, ensuring they receive the attention and assistance they deserve.
All Individual personal care plans are reviewed and updated every three months to keep us updated with any changes in individual personal needs, or any changes in health needs.
We comply with all GDPR regarding personal individual information, The GDPR came into effect in the UK on 25 May 2018. We are the guardians of health and care data and have made sure we comply with GDPR. This means that your health and care data will carry on being handled securely and in line with the regulations.

Engaging Activities
We offer a variety of engaging activities to keep our member's active and stimulated, including arts and crafts, music therapy, and gentle arm chair exercise classes.
Also special guests to come to visit our members at the centre, like meet and greets with the Alpaca's and up close and personal with owls from the Owl Sanctuary.
We have themed party weeks throughout the year, from Easter Bonnet Parade, Halloween Party week, And Christmas Party Week, with special guests coming to entertain, with live singers to get our members up and Boogieing down too the music.
Then also from April onwards we like to get out and about with our members on little Day Trips, to places like Trentham Gardens & Festival Park for shopping Trips, Beatrice the Barge, Meet and Greet with the Lord Mayor plus many more exciting places to visit, we always make them a full day out and we have a Pub Lunch out as a nice treat.
Also we offer Mini Five Day Breaks Away to Blackpool,
We also have interaction with our local community school, where the children will come to visit and join in with our morning activities with the members.
Intro Visits
We offer a no obligatory Introductory Visits, so people who are interested in attending Day Services at Northwood Day Care Centre, came come along for a visit. Over a Drink of Tea or Coffee, we shall discuss what happens on a Typical Day. We are always happy to answer any questions you or your family have regarding the facilities.
And just before you leave we give you a tour of our two Storey Building so you can get a feel for the centre, and actually see for yourselves what happens in the centre.
Intro Visits are available every day Monday to Friday, you can either have a Intro Visit at 11am or and Intro Visit at 2pm, please note these Intro visits need to booked in over the phone, so we can check availability. You can book an Intro Visit by telephoning Tel: 01782 267245
